For decades, "competitive gaming" meant sitting in a chair, staring at a monitor, and moving your thumbs. But in Aldergrove, a new wave of Esports is taking over—one where your physical speed, reaction time, and tactical communication are the controllers.

What is Kernel: Confrontation?
Imagine if Rainbow Six Siege or Counter-Strike came to life. Kernel is a hyper-realistic, 4v4 tactical shooter played in our massive free-roam arena.
No Wires: You aren't tethered to a computer. You have total freedom of movement.
1:1 Accuracy: If you physically duck behind a crate, your avatar ducks. If you peek around a corner, your avatar peeks.
Team Strategy: This isn't a mindless arcade shooter. You need to coordinate breaches, cover angles, and communicate with your squad to win.
The Tournament Structure
We run this league with a "World Cup" mentality. It is designed to be high-stakes, competitive, and respectful of your time.
The Format: 6 Teams. 2 Groups. 1 Grand Final.
The Playtime: We don't do short matches. Each round is a full 20 minutes. Every team plays a guaranteed Group Stage (2 games), meaning you get a minimum of 40 minutes of intense playtime, plus more if you advance to the finals.
The Capacity: We strictly limit the bracket to 6 Teams per month. This ensures no waiting around for hours—just non-stop action.
Analyze Your Performance
Real athletes review the tape. In the Kernel League, we track everything. Stats are available the next day. You will receive a breakdown of your team's performance, including Kill/Death ratios, accuracy, and objective scores. Use it to brag to your friends or to strategize for next month's bracket.
The Loot: What You Are Fighting For
We don't play for participation ribbons. We play for glory and cold, hard cash. The total prize pool for every tournament is $440:
🥇 1st Place: $160 CASH + $160 Store Credit + Your Team Name engraved on the perpetual "Aldergrove Cup" trophy.
🥈 2nd Place: $80 Store Credit.
🥉 3rd Place: $40 Store Credit.

Registration is open now for this month's tournament. Because we cap the event at 6 teams, slots usually sell out well in advance.
