Your First Free-Roam VR Session in Langley: What to Expect

Thinking about trying VR in Langley but not sure what to expect? We're a free-roam VR arena in Aldergrove, in the Township of Langley. Here's what your first visit looks like, so you can walk in relaxed and ready to play.

Quick version: a 60-minute visit with 45 minutes of free-roam VR, no wires, no experience needed, and the session is just for your group. Pick a time for your first session.

What "free-roam" means

There are no cables and no standing on one spot. You walk, crouch and turn for real, and the game moves with you. Our two rooms are 700 sq ft each, so there's space to move. Up to 14 players can be in the same game across both rooms.

Your first visit, step by step

Arrive 15 minutes early. Setup is part of your booked time.
15 minutes of setup and safety. Our staff fit each headset and show everyone the controls. Nobody needs to have tried VR before.
45 minutes of free-roam VR. Your group plays together, in a private session just for you. You're never put in a game with strangers.

Good first games

Safe Night Classic: a co-op shooter that's one button to play, for 1 to 14 players. Great for beginners.
Ninja Trials or Pirates Plague: our two Beginner escape rooms, for 2 to 12 players who like solving puzzles as a team.
Ghost Tower: gentle mini-games like Ghost Hunt and fishing. All ages (we recommend 6+ so the headset fits well).

Prices for a drop-in

Mon–Thu: adults (14+) $44.99, students and kids 13 and under $29.99.
Fri–Sun and stat holidays: adults $49.99, students and kids $39.99.

Prices are per person, plus tax. Kids 13 and under don't need ID. High school students and older bring a student ID. There's no deposit for a drop-in, and you pay after your session. Want to keep going? A second session right after is half off for adults (14+). Students and kids stay full price, and student and kids prices can't be combined with other offers.

Questions first-timers ask

Do I need to have played VR before? No. Staff run the setup and safety part with every group.
How big can our group be? Up to 14 players can play in the same game.
Is it just us in the room? Yes. Every booking is a private session for your group only.
